Time for Action: Help Establish Time, Place, and Manner Regulations

Hello Neighbors!

Thank you to those who have recently started following this newsletter and donated. We appreciate your support! Please tell your neighbors about our mission to preserve and protect the natural resources that Chehalem Mountain provides for us. We believe in maintaining the aquifer, and the biodiversity it supports by responsibly using this limited resource.

We are excited to announce that we have some ACTION ITEMS for you:

Our neighbors have been working closely with Yamhill County Commissioners to SCHEDULE a public Work Session on the importance AND NECESSITY of establishing Marijuana Time, Place, and Manner (TPM) Regulations for the county. ALMOST EVERY OTHER COUNTY HAS ADOPTED THESE SENSIBLE SAFETY REGULATIONS TO PROTECT THEIR RESIDENTS FROM POTENTIAL FIRE HAZARDS, PRESERVE THE ENVIRONMENT/WILDLIFE, PROPERTY VALUES & QUALITY OF LIFE.

We are asking ALL Residents OF EVERY COUNTY to do the following via instructions provided in the attached documents:

  1. Email or mail the Commissioners (instructions and sample letters are provided)

  2. Digitally sign the petition on Change.org (link provided)

  3. Virtually attend the Yamhill County Work Session on TPM (instructions provided)

We need you to write to the Commissioners, and Sign the Petition by the DEADLINE: THURSDAY, DECEMBER 2ND!!

The scheduled date for the Yamhill County Work Session is December 9th, 2021 at 10:00 am.

In the attached documents below, you will find information and instructions on how to write/email the County Commissioners to let them know your opinions on adopting these regulations.

Please send a copy to savechehalemmountain@gmail.com as well, so we can keep a record of all of your support.
